With those simulations, we can address goals achievable with the silicon vertex detector, for both heavy ion and spin physics. Our main purpose is to find how well we can identify D and B mesons by using displaced vertex method with various configurations of the silicon vertex detector. We also will study the momentum resolution of the detector.
