In this study, one of the most important measurements is yields of low mass vector mesons, such as omega and phi. To measure yields, the acceptance calculation is the most important issue. I would like to evaluate the acceptance and efficiency of phi->ee and omega->ee at PHENIX using a simulation at RSCC. I will use PISA simulation, which is GEANT based PHENIX detector simulation package and generate 10 Million events each for omega and phi. In this study, we can evaluate the acceptance and the efficiency with less than 5% of systematic errors. I will follow the same method as Fukutaro's J/psi and pi0 simulation. So, I don't need further special libraries and resources. Estimated CPU time required : hours (with Pentium III 1GHz) 1600 CPU hours at RSCC Estimated disk space usage required : 400 GB At least, I need 100GB at disk. Remaining 300 GB can be transferred to HPSS after a job finishing. Estimated HPSS space usage required : 0 GB (it depends on how large I can get in disk.) HPSS band width for above estimate : 0 MB/s Target date for completion (cpu) : 10/ 6/ 05 (DD/MM/YY) (disk): 15/ 8/ 05 Plan for the publication of this result (if possible) I will present the results at Quark Matter 2005 (8/4-8/9) Other useful information
