Heavy ion data from RHIC so far are confined to measurements of $J/\psi$ production. Models of $J/\psi$ production in heavy ion collisions at RHIC contain a number of important competing effects, including reduction of initial $J/\psi$ yields due to cold nuclear matter effects, reduced feed down from excited charmonium states that melt just above the QGP transition temperature, destruction of $J/\psi$ due to interactions with thermal gluons in the GQP, and coalescence of uncorrelated charm pairs. Systematic studies of $J/\psi$ production in heavy ion collisions with several system sizes and energy densities are important for understanding the behavior of $J/\psi$ in hot and dense nuclear matter. The light vector mesons ($\rho$, $\omega$ and $phi$) are expected to be sensitive to possible in-medium modifications by chiral symmetry restoration. The PHENIX experiment collected 1 billion events in Cu+Cu collisions in 2005 (RUN-5). About 1,000 $J/psi$ mesons and 1,000 $phi$ mesons were collected in the di-electron channel in the RUN-5. Analysis of those mesons are on going. One of the most important issue to measure the yields of those vector mesons is the acceptance calculation. 10 million simulation events will be produced and analyzed at CC-J to obtain systematic and statistical errors of less than 5%.
