In this study, one of the most important measurement is the invariant yield and the invariant pT spectra of light vector mesons, such as omega and phi. The main purpose of this research at CCJ is to generate simulation data by using PISA simulation which is based on GEANT simulation to calculate response of the PHENIX detector. I will intend to generate 10M events for omega and phi. Generated files will be used to calculate the acceptance, the efficiency and to do thier systematic study. Estimated CPU time required : 8000 hours (with Pentium III 1GHz) Estimated disk space usage required : 600 GB My estimation is shown below. For phi mesons Total # of event : 10M events Disk usage : 250G (250 MB per 10K events) For omega mesons Total # of event : 10M events Disk usage : 250G (250 MB per 10K events) Estimated HPSS space usage required : 0 HPSS band width for above estimate : 0 MB/s Target date for completion (cpu) : 31/09/2007 (DD/MM/YY) (disk): 31/12/2007 Plan for the publication of this result (if possible) Other useful infomation ############################################## Best regards, Yoshihide ************************************* Yoshihide Nakamiya Hiroshima University, Japan mail-to : nakamiya@hepl.hiroshima-u.ac.jp *************************************
