Sakuma Summary of this research (10-100 lines) KEKPS E325 is an experiment that measure the vector meson decay in nuclei to explore the partial restoration of the chiral symmetry of QCD. We intend to re-analysis the Kaon-triggered data taken in 2001 and 1999 ( about 1.4TB data ) with improved analysis code for track-finding in drift chambers. This analysis will increace the good K+ K- events three times as large as before. We will compare the cross section of phi -> K+K- with that of phi -> e+e- to derive information about phi-meson mass modification in nuclear matter. Estimated CPU time required : 176000 hours (with Pentium III 1GHz) Estimated disk space usage required : 2000 GB(input 1500 GB + output 500 GB) Estimated HPSS space usage required : 500 GB HPSS band width for above estimate : 0.2 MB/s Target date for completion : 30/07/04 (DD/MM/YY) Plan for the publication of this result (if possible) PRL
