Summary of this research (10-100 lines)

In order to start physics analysis for run-2 data,
one has to know the trigger bias of this year.
For that purpose, we will produce minimum bias events
with the HIJING event generator, simulate hits in the PHENIX
detector and reconstruct events with correct detector responces.
First of all we will reproduce the response of the Beam-Beam Counter(BBC)
in the real data. Then based on those tuned simulation data,
we will estimate the trigger efficiency by emulating the BBC
level1 board logic. Since this efficiency would depend on
the input dN/dY in BBC region, we will produce several sets
of HIJING events with different dN/dY to get systematic
errors on the trigger efficiency.

Estimated CPU time required : 10000 hours (with Pentium III
850MHz)

Estimated disk space usage required : 300 GB

Estimated HPSS space usage required : 300 GB

Target date for completion : 5/ 12 / 01 (DD/MM/YY)

Plan for the publication of this result (if possible)

This study could be a basic or common trigger study for
all run-2 analysis. At least, this study would be dedicated
for the multiplicity paper at root(Snn) = 200 GeV.
And we are planning to write a PHENIX analysis note.
