The density correlation in a medium can be a good inidicator for phase transitions in general. If the correlation length and/or susceptibility of the density fluctuations diverge, it can be a signature of phase transition. We apply this general method to high energy density matter created by heavy ion collisions at RHIC to discuss the QCD phase transition. We analyze data sets taken during Run4, Run5 and Run7 by the PHENIX detector and discuss the collision system dependence of the density correlations.
