Charm production and modification in the normal and hot medium. Angler and momentum correlation between di-electrons will be studied. 2. Thermal di-leptons v2 of thermal di-leptons will be studied and the dependence of v2 and mean pT w.r.t the pair mass is primary interests. 3. Search for high mass and high pT di-leptons One of the good observables for the study of the dynamics in pre-thermalization stage is to look at high mass and high pT di-lepton or photon production. To search for the contribution, it is necessary to understand the di-lepton production from DDbar, BBbar and DY. Estimated CPU time required : hours (with Pentium III 1GHz) Estimated disk space usage required : 400 GB (p+p: 75 GB, d+Au, 75 GB, Au+Au 150GB, simulation 100GB) Estimated HPSS space usage required : 500 GB HPSS band width for above estimate : MB/s Target date for completion (cpu) : 11/ 18 / 09 (DD/MM/YY) (disk): 11/ 18 / 11 Plan for the publication of this result (if possible) The results will be published after the next QM. Other useful information: I will study the correlation in run5/run6 pp and run 8 d+Au first.
